GLENDORA, Calif. -- A car was removed from Glendora house Monday after a 19-year-old man sped through a stop sign and crashed into the home on Saturday.The collision happened at 856 N. Loraine Ave., near Sierra Madre Avenue, about 9 p.m. Saturday, said Lt. Tim Staab of the Glendora Police Department.The driver, whose name was withheld, was going about 60 mph in a two-door BMW when he ran a stop sign, lost control of the car and crashed into the kitchen of the house, Staab said, adding that the speed limit is 25 mph.
No one was injured, he said.The 19-year-old driver walked away after his air bag deployed, and although the family was home, no one was in the kitchen at the time of the crash, Staab said.
