X5 4.4- Trailer hitch

Anyone have experience having someone other than a BMW dealer install a hitch on an X5? They want $795- way too much for a hitch.

I bought the OEM hitch from Pacific BMW for around $500 and the wiring harness for $150 and then installed it myself. There is a could tutorial on x5world.com
