Why must car and driver break on the X3???

Why is it that when i read other magazines, they praise the x3, then i come across an article like this! stupid C+D

And some on this board would say that BMW has C+D in their back pocket! LOL....give the journalists a little credit! Most of them are vehicle enthusiasts just like us!

I would guess that the favorite of C&D is probably the biggest advertiser if you really want to look for motivation to take sides. I have seen them go after GM, probably one of the biggest if not the biggest advertiser.

I like the X3 now but did not at first. Not everyone will ever like the same aspects of a car but C&D does have a few good points in this article. Realistically, a 3 series wagon would fit my needs and probably the needs of many others better than the X3, mainly because of usable space.

These are just opinions to look at when considering a vehicle. Now if it said stalls frequently, unsafe, and terrible reliability that would be different. I wouldn’t get too excited about it.
