Hi,ive just bought a 2003 X5 3.0d Automatic Sport. The car has trouble with the oil cooler leaking oil into coolant,I am replacing the filter housing seal and the heat exchanger.
whilst stripping the oil filter housing out I came across a black nylon pipe behind the oil filter but cannot see where it comes from,anybody shed any light on its purpose and what it connects to.
